For lovers of Japanese music, especially rock music with a distinctive electro and scream touch, the band Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas are certainly familiar names. They also had time to fill in many anime soundtracks. This time, there was a sad news coming from this band.
JurnalOtaku - The sad news came from a hardcore band from Japan Fear, and Loathing in Las Vegas. One of their personnel, the bassist, Kei, is said to have passed away.
This news was delivered directly by the band through their official website and twitter. Kei was pronounced passed away at his home due to heart failure on January 12 at midnight. Kei's funeral was held on January 15 by the request of the family. With this incident, several events from Fear, and Loathing in Las Vegas such as album making, album release and their concert tour had to be canceled. It will not be clear what the future of the band will be, after the previous year, the band was also abandoned by one of their guitarists, Sxun for personal reasons.
Fear, and Loathing in Las Vegas was formed in 2008. The band has also filled in anime soundtracks such as Kiseijuu, Hunter x Hunter, Baki, Goukoku no Brynhildr, and several other anime. Their music is unique because it combines hardcore elements with disco so it seems like an energetic party music. Their music lyrics mostly use English.
Anitechia grieves over this incident, may Kei-san rest in peace and to all colleagues and family be given fortitude. Thank you for being a part of Fear, and Loathing in Las Vegas till the end.
