Absolutely, especially among those born in the 90s generation, know this cartoon, Spongebob SquarePants. The cartoon from Nickelodeon station that tells about life under the sea which is packed with hilarious successfully wandered around the world. All of that can not be separated from the results of the creativity of a figure of Stephen Hillenburg.

But now, the creator of Spongebob and his friends, is gone.

Reporting from TheGuardian.com, Stephen Hillenburg was declared dead on November 26, 2018 then at the age of 57 years. The cause of his death was allegedly due to ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis). ALS is a disorder of the motor nerves or nerve cells in the brain and spine that regulates the movement of the striated muscles (muscles that are driven by their own volition). It is known that the figure of Stephen Hillenburg has this disease starting in March 2017. Many say that people affected by this disease will not survive for a long time, except for Stephen Hawking who managed to survive up to 76 years. Stephen also included being able to survive for more than a year thanks to the support of his family and colleagues.

"We are very saddened by the news that Steve Hillenburg has died after his battle with ALS. He is a very beloved friend and colleague for so long who is creative for everyone on Nickelodeon," as Nickelodeon said via TheGuardian.com.

The Spongebob series itself has aired 250 episodes and has been aired in many countries and even dubbed for each language.
